Introduction

Hi I'm Leanne and I'm a Badgeaholic. I have been obsessed with badges since I earned my first badge in Brownies back in 1995. I loved the sense of pride and achievement everytime I earned a new badge, especially with interest badges where I had done all the work on a topic that interested me on my own, I can still remember the anticipation of waiting for Brown Owl or one of the other leaders to assess my badge work and they joy in being told that I had earned the badge. Today I am a leader in both Brownies and Rainbows and love being able to hand.out badges to the girls in my units for a job well done. I am still badge obsessed myself and have collected an array of fun badges as an adult as well as badges for attending training days and thank you badges from my County and Region. Whilst I love these badges they do.not give me the same sense of achievement I had earnings badges and a child so when I heard about The Rebel Badge Book, I knew I had ro get involved. I bought the book back in March, but starting a new job has left little time for badge work, however, I am now off work for 6 weeks for the school holidays and plan to spend that time working on badges to my hearts content. This blog is primarily for accountability and to track my progress, but I hope that if you are reading this you enjoy coming on thos journey with me. Leanne
