Event Planner Badge Part 1

One of the event choices for the Event Planner badge is to plan a hen do or stag do. My brownie co-leader and Girlguiding bestie is getting married in August so I decided to plan a surprise Brownie hen do for her. We had 20 girls and 4 adults and we all had a great evening. She is a huge Disney fan ao we had Disney love songs as background music, we had a Disney love song quiz, played pass the bouquet, and the girls turned our assistant leader and unit helper into loo roll brides complete with catwalk. We had cake and gifts, our Hen was completely surprised and really touched by my efforts. I deliberately didn't tell anyone what I had planned until at the week before to minimise the risk if ruining the surprise. We all had an great time and I was ao happy to have given a friend who works so hard for our unit a night that was all about her.
